JumpFactor

Visit →

JumpFactor's MSP SEO page covers local and national search, service and industry keywords, and conversion work. It includes testimonials from Attentus, Executech, Caltech, and other MSPs. Request a comparable engagement and ask about the cities targeted, pages delivered, starting position, timeframe, and how inquiries became qualified opportunities. Confirm whether the quote covers SEO alone or also includes content, paid media, and other inbound work.

Specialization

MSP SEO for local and national searches, with content and broader inbound services.

Best for

MSPs comparing a managed SEO program across service lines, verticals, or several cities.

Not ideal for

Buyers who need a fixed public price before requesting a proposal.

Pricing

Request a quote; we could not verify a current fixed MSP SEO price.

JumpFactor publishes the testimonials. We have not independently audited the historical revenue and lead claims, and they do not predict your results.

First Page Sage

Visit →

First Page Sage combines SEO strategy with thought leadership content. Its own agency comparison names Equinix, ZPE Systems, and iTech as clients, mixing IT companies and MSPs. Request a named MSP case with the same geographic reach as your business and a sample of the content team’s work.

Specialization

SEO and thought leadership content for IT and managed services companies.

Best for

MSPs seeking a proposal centered on search strategy and expert content production.

Not ideal for

An outsourced marketing department unless the proposal also names the team and scope for the other channels you need.

Pricing

Request a quote; we could not verify a current fixed MSP SEO price.

First Page Sage wrote the comparison and ranked its own company. Its ratings are vendor claims; 100Signals has not adopted them as independent scores.

Tech Pro Marketing

Visit →

Tech Pro lists keyword research, local SEO, technical work, content, links, and reporting on its MSP SEO page. Its site also offers AEO and GEO services, email, and LinkedIn campaigns. Ask which channels the agreement covers, how much SEO work is included, and who makes changes to the website.

Specialization

Local MSP SEO, content, websites, paid search, AI search optimization, email, and LinkedIn campaigns.

Best for

MSPs wanting SEO coordinated with website conversion, email, and LinkedIn campaigns.

Not ideal for

Buyers expecting every advertised service in one fixed package. Get an itemized current proposal.

Pricing

Request a quote; we could not verify a current fixed MSP SEO price.

The service pages describe the offer. Testimonials and ranking screenshots come from the agency; request dated results from a comparable MSP and separate SEO outcomes from paid or outbound activity.

Pronto Marketing

Visit →

Pronto's MSP SEO page covers Google Business Profile, local citations, technical work, content, links, and reporting. Its local and national offers are distinct, so choose against your service area rather than assuming the national package replaces local work. The Dynamic Solutions Group case describes service-area pages, backlinks, blogging, and profile optimization across a multi-city MSP engagement. Ask for a current proposal showing which of those activities and volumes are included.

Specialization

Separately priced local SEO, national SEO, blogging, and related website services.

Best for

MSPs comparing published local or national SEO entry prices and a documented local MSP engagement.

Not ideal for

Buyers treating a blogging or hosting subscription as the complete SEO package. Confirm the deliverables and add-ons.

Pricing

MSP SEO page: local SEO from $1,200/mo; national SEO from $1,500/mo; blogging from $299/article. These are separate starting prices.

Prices are the starting offers on the linked MSP SEO page reviewed October 2, 2026. The Dynamic Solutions case began in May 2020 and reports results through May 2022; it is historical, vendor-reported evidence, not a current package guarantee.

JoomConnect

Visit →

Each JoomConnect SEO tier covers one location. Keyword allowances and monthly labor hours increase with the package. Basics includes on-site blog development as needed; higher tiers list it as included. Ask how the hours divide between content, links, and technical fixes. Its wider marketing services support ConnectWise and Autotask, and the SEO page says you do not need a JoomConnect website.

Specialization

Published one-location SEO packages with defined keyword scope and monthly labor hours.

Best for

MSPs comparing local SEO packages with specified hours, keywords, and location coverage.

Not ideal for

Multi-location MSPs assuming every metro is included in the base price. Additional location scope needs a quote.

Pricing

SEO Basics $300/mo (5 labor hours); Bronze $600 (10); Silver $1,200 (20); Gold $1,800 (30). Each covers one physical location.

The SEO prices and hours come from the current tier table, not a bundled marketing retainer. Confirm terms, content volume, and any extra location costs in writing.

TSL Marketing

Visit →

TSL says its SEO team targets an MSP's geographic region. The work it lists includes indexing and site fixes, keyword research, content strategy, monitoring, and reporting. Website design and paid media are complementary services. Ask which work the SEO fee covers and which requires a wider agreement.

Specialization

MSP SEO with local geographic targeting, technical fixes, content, reporting, and optional website or ad work.

Best for

MSPs wanting SEO coordinated with website optimization or digital advertising, including a defined local region.

Not ideal for

A buyer expecting a standard SEO package price from the MSP service page. Request the exact deliverables and terms.

Pricing

Request a quote; we could not verify a current fixed SEO-only price.

The MSP SEO page describes the services and links to a DP Solutions case. We did not verify case metrics or a defense-sector campaign result.

Marketopia

Visit →

Marketopia offers training and enablement, done-with-you, and done-for-you MSP marketing, with BDR services quoted separately. Consider it when you need work beyond search. Have the proposal spell out SEO location coverage, pages, content, links, technical fixes, and reporting. Ask whether you can buy SEO separately and who is responsible for organic performance when several channels run together. Check eligibility and approval for any proposed vendor funding.

Specialization

SEO within a broader MSP marketing and sales service offering.

Best for

MSPs considering one partner for SEO and other marketing or sales activity.

Not ideal for

Buyers comparing a broad marketing quote directly with a limited SEO package. Ask for the SEO portion separately.

Pricing

Request a quote; we could not verify a current fixed MSP SEO price.

The MSP service page establishes the delivery models. Named PBSI and REDiTECH summaries are vendor claims about broader engagements, not proof of SEO-only results or a fixed SEO package.

NuOptima

Visit →

NuOptima markets to MSPs, combining SEO with GEO and AI search, paid demand, RevOps, and outbound. The Cortavo case describes a May 2025–May 2026 engagement covering content, technical SEO, publishing, links, off-site authority, and fractional CMO support. NuOptima reports $403,330 in contracted sales attributed to organic and AI search on an $88,500 investment. Ask which geographic markets the proposal covers, which changes the team makes, and whether you can buy SEO separately.

Specialization

MSP-focused SEO, GEO and AI search, paid demand, RevOps, and outbound.

Best for

MSPs comparing SEO as part of an integrated search, paid, and outbound program.

Not ideal for

An SEO-only brief unless the agency confirms a separate scope, fee, and implementation team.

Pricing

Request a quote; we could not verify a current fixed MSP SEO price.

Updated in August 2026, the Cortavo figures use NuOptima's reported CRM attribution. Contracted sales are not profit; the case does not isolate SEO's contribution or predict your results. The $88,500 investment is a historical case cost, not a current package price.

How we built this list

This comparison is for US MSP owners and marketing leads hiring an SEO provider. We compared advertised services, published prices, and client evidence. The list is unranked, and no agency paid for inclusion. 100Signals sells demand generation services to software firms and has a commercial interest in this market; we are not on the list.

We reviewed service and pricing sources on October 2, 2026. Descriptions come from the agencies’ published offers; case studies and testimonials are their reported results. We have not independently audited those results or assigned numerical scores. “Request a quote” means we could not verify a comparable current MSP SEO price.

Ulistic appeared in an earlier version. Its homepage now redirects to Tech Pro Marketing. We removed the separate listing because we could not verify a current independent SEO offer. The redirect does not confirm acquisition terms or the status of legacy services and contracts.

What makes SEO different for MSPs

Start with the market you actually serve. An MSP covering one metro needs a proposal that names its service area and Google Business Profile work. An MSP pursuing national co-managed IT or a particular vertical needs a different page and content scope. “Local and national SEO” on an agency’s site is a starting point for that conversation, not confirmation that both are included.

An MSP SEO agency should understand the services you sell and the buyers you qualify. Test that understanding with a sample service page and a named client reference. Ask how the team separates residential support requests, job seekers, existing customers, and suitable business prospects in reporting. For implementation priorities and page architecture, use the SEO for managed service providers guide.

What does search engine optimization for MSPs actually include?

Send the same brief to each shortlisted provider. Request these items in writing:

  • The metros, physical locations, service areas, and Google Business Profiles covered; the price of adding another location.
  • Monthly counts of new service pages, optimized existing pages, and articles, with expert interviews, revisions, approvals, and publishing responsibilities.
  • Link and citation work, including how placements are selected and whether any fees sit outside the retainer.
  • Technical fixes the agency implements versus recommendations your developer must implement, and the site access each requires.
  • Setup costs, minimum term, cancellation notice, renewal terms, and separate website, hosting, content, or paid-media fees.
  • Ownership and access for the domain, website, content, analytics, profiles, and reporting when the engagement ends.
  • A reporting baseline and a way to trace organic inquiries through qualification, opportunities, and closed business without counting other channels as SEO.

JoomConnect’s labor-hour tiers and Pronto’s separate local, national, and blogging prices show why the cheapest headline price is not a like-for-like comparison. A quote should make the work and exclusions as clear as the fee.

When does an SEO marketing consultant make sense for an MSP?

Choose a consultant if your team can write, publish, and make technical changes but needs help diagnosing a problem or setting priorities. Assign an internal owner and time to carry out the recommendations before buying an audit. Some consultants also do the work; confirm that in the agreement.

If those people are missing, compare agencies that deliver the work. Count your staff time and developer costs alongside the fee. Budget alone does not decide whether you need advice, a production team, or both.

Does an MSP need a dedicated SEO agency on top of a full-stack marketing retainer?

Review the existing agreement first. A specialist can fill a defined gap, such as a migration or content program, if responsibilities and reporting are clear. Otherwise, overlapping page edits, content briefs, and charges make it hard to tell who owns the work.

Ask for a separate SEO scope even when buying several channels together. For the wider outsourced marketing decision, see best marketing agencies for managed service providers. Thought leadership agencies, IT company SEO agencies, and MSP lead generation companies cover different hiring briefs. The MSP lead generation guide covers the handoff from inquiries to sales.

Check vertical experience and AI search evidence

For healthcare, legal, or defense clients, request a named case from the same industry and read the delivered pages. Check who reviews compliance claims and whether the case covers your audience and service area. We could not verify a best provider for these markets.

For AI search work, ask for dated, platform-specific examples: the query or prompt, geographic context, answer, and cited page. Request a baseline and repeated checks. A service label such as AEO or GEO does not establish citation performance, and an appearance in one answer does not establish consistent coverage.

Google’s guidance for AI features in Search says no special schema or additional technical requirements are needed for these features. Structured data should accurately represent visible content. It does not guarantee rankings or AI citations. Compare the agency’s deliverables and evidence rather than promises of a fixed citation date.

Before choosing, get a written scope, a price, and a named owner for implementation. Check these against the same brief and relevant client references.

Who runs this research

About the publisher

100Signals is a demand generation agency for software development firms. We research marketing providers that these firms could hire. Our scans describe software development firms and IT companies as buyers of marketing services; they do not measure the performance of the providers in these lists. The methodology on this page explains the sources used for the comparison.

We compete with some of the agencies above and excluded ourselves from the list. Nobody paid for placement, and we have no affiliate arrangements with the providers listed.

Written by Peter Korpak, who spent seven years heading marketing at Brainhub and has run 300+ campaigns for dev agencies and IT companies. Our coordinated demand generation program is described on the services page.

The harder question

When a buyer asks an AI which firm to hire, does yours come up?

We run AI visibility scans on software development agencies. The report covers your visibility score across ChatGPT and Gemini, who gets recommended instead of you, what AI thinks your firm actually does, and the gaps worth fixing first. Delivered in 24 hours.

FAQ
How much does an SEO agency cost for an MSP?
Compare defined offers rather than a generic market range. JoomConnect publishes one-location SEO tiers at $300, $600, $1,200, and $1,800 per month with 5, 10, 20, and 30 monthly labor hours. Pronto's MSP SEO page lists local SEO from $1,200 per month, national SEO from $1,500, and blogging from $299 per article. These are different scopes; the other profiles require a current quote. Prices were reviewed October 2, 2026.
When does an SEO marketing consultant make sense for an MSP?
Choose a consultant when you have the people and website access to implement recommendations and need priorities or a second opinion. Choose an execution agency when you need content written, pages published, and technical fixes shipped. Compare the total cost of implementation, not just the consultant's fee against an agency retainer. Confirm each provider's actual delivery model.
Can an MSP SEO agency also handle Google Business Profile and local citations?
Several profiles advertise local work, but inclusion varies by package. Ask for the exact profiles and service areas covered, citation work, review workflow, and additional location fees. JumpFactor, Pronto, Tech Pro, JoomConnect, and TSL advertise local SEO; check the signed scope rather than assuming it is included.
Do MSP SEO services include content writing?
Ask for separate counts of new pages, optimized pages, and articles, plus who interviews your experts, approves drafts, and publishes them. Pronto lists blogging separately from its local and national SEO starting prices. JoomConnect distinguishes as-needed blog development in Basics from included development in higher tiers. A reference to content strategy alone does not establish writing or publishing volume.
Which agency is best for an MSP serving healthcare, legal, or defense clients?
Ask for a named case from your industry and service area, the pages delivered, expert review process, baseline, timeframe, and qualified opportunities. We could not verify a best provider for healthcare, legal, or defense MSPs. General MSP testimonials and SaaS cases leave that experience unconfirmed.
How should an MSP evaluate an agency's AI search claims?
Ask for dated examples with the platform, query or prompt, location context, and cited page, then compare repeated checks against a baseline. Google says its AI search features require no special schema or additional technical requirements beyond existing search eligibility. Markup should represent visible content accurately; it is not a guarantee of citation.
